Pastor Ben Roohr serves as the Senior Pastor of Curtis Baptist Church, where his heart for preaching, discipleship, and community outreach guides every aspect of ministry. With more than a decade of pastoral experience, Pastor Benjamin is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and building a church family centered on God’s Word and love.

Pastor Ben is a graduate of Maranatha Baptist University, where he studied Christian Ministry and Counseling, and he began his ministry journey at Calvary Baptist Church in Quincy, Michigan. There, he served as a deacon, gained valuable ministry experience through internship and leadership roles, and was later ordained to the gospel ministry.

Before coming to Curtis, he served faithfully as Associate Pastor at Blissfield Baptist Church in Blissfield, Michigan, where he led children’s and youth ministries, organized outreach events like Vacation Bible School, and helped strengthen the church’s connection to the community. His ministry has always been marked by a deep commitment to biblical teaching, spiritual growth, and encouraging families to live out their faith every day.

He and his wife, Chelsea, have been married for nine years and are blessed with four wonderful children — Wyatt, Emmaline, Levi, and Beckett. Together, they are grateful to be raising their family in Curtis and to serve alongside a loving church body. Their desire is to see lives changed, families strengthened, and the name of Christ lifted high in the Curtis community and beyond.
